PowerEx Information Session

September 9, 2025 By MFE Assistant

Are you interested in clean energy, the energy market and trading, and working in a challenging, dynamic industry? Come learn more about Powerex, our Rotational Analyst Program, Front Office Internships and more.

Powerex is a market leader and one of BC’s Top Employers with an average tenure of 11 year across the company and 15 years on our trade floor. It has the best parts of a start-up company (nimble, challenging, fast paced) mixed with the benefits and stability of a 30 year organization (great benefits packages, generous time off, and professional development).

British Columbia has a proud legacy of clean hydroelectric generation that has been powering the province for over 100 years.   Since 1988, Powerex has been the exclusive marketer of BC Hydro’s clean surplus power and surplus capabilities.  Powerex meets the many needs of our customers while providing economic and environmental benefits for British Columbia, including helping to keep electricity rates affordable for BC ratepayers.  We are one of the longest operating companies in the business.

The information session will include a brief presentation, opportunities for questions and networking.

Registration details shared via email.
